EN // The project for "Daylight" wall lamp was born during the pandemic, when the altered everyday life has led us to change ours perspectives, the meaning and value we give to things. The light of day, for example, it is no longer a simple natural phenomenon but energy that brings a deep desire for freedom.

IT // La lampada da parete “Daylight” è un progetto che nasce durante la pandemia, quando la quotidianità forzatamente alterata ci ha portati a cambiare le nostre prospettive, il senso e il valore che diamo delle cose. La luce del giorno, ad esempio, non è più un semplice fenomeno naturale ma energia che porta con sé un profondo desiderio di libertà.

EN // I observed for a long time the light coming through the window, the shapes it created on the walls, the color it gave to the surfaces. Then I painted it as accurate as possible, to be able to remember those moments even when life would have acquired faster rhythms.

IT // Ho osservato a lungo quella luce che entrava dalla finestra, le forme che creava sulle pareti, il colore che dava alle superfici. Poi l'ho dipinta nel modo più fedele possibile per poter ricordare quei momenti anche quando la vita avrebbe acquisito ritmi più veloci.

IT // Guardando quel quadro, giorno dopo giorno, ho pensato che portare un po’ di quella luce nelle case di tutti potesse ricordarci che rallentare alle volte è utile e necessario. “Daylight” non è infatti solo una lampada che illumina, ma un oggetto che vuole spingere le persone a fermarsi, ad osservare, a pensare.

EN // Looking at the painting, day after day, I thought that bringing a little of that light in everyone's homes could remind us to slow down sometimes it is useful and necessary. “Daylight” is in fact not just a lamp that illuminates, but an object that wants to push people to stop, to observe, to think.

EN // Transforming the concept into a wall lamp was quite immediate. The original light on the wall has been turned into physical wavy elements with little bulbs in the middle of each wave.

“Daylight” is a one-of-a-kind, contemporary and minimal wall lamp. It arrives in everyone's homes, everywhere, bringing the emotions of new perspectives.

IT // Tradurre questo concetto in versione luminaria dal punto di vista progettuale è stato abbastanza immediato. Il disegno dell’illuminazione iniziale infatti ha assunto la fisicità di elementi ondulati con piccole lampadine al centro.

“Daylight” è una lampada unica, contemporanea e minimale. Entra nelle case di tutti, ovunque, portando con sé emozioni of new perspectives.
